The Coat of Many Colors

You know that piece hanging in your closet that has the power to change your mood the moment you put it on? The piece that¬†fits your personality so well that it can’t help but make your confidence skyrocket? This is mine.

I bought this serape kimono while I was in Fort Worth earlier this year and it seems to go with all kinds of outfits for every season.

When it comes to fashion, I think the most important part is to express your personality and your spirit. Don’t wear clothes that don’t inspire you. One of my favorite Bible verses comes from Proverbs 31:

“She clothes herself with strength and dignity, she laughs without fear of the future.”

For this fall look, I paired my kimono with a black fringe tunic from Rock 47, pleather leggings and Ariat cinnamon caiman boots.

I wanted to keep my hair simple: styling it with loose, messy curls. I accessorized with a beaded statement necklace and red Kendra Scott Earrings.

Don’t be afraid to be bold. Be true to yourself.¬†Express your spirit and stay unique, my sisters!
